I forgot what I was going to say. Someone “Liked” (fucking moronic word, social media and its lexicon are moronic) one of my poems that seems to be gaining some popularity (dare I fall into the ego trap of counting “Likes”? am I so narcissistic?) and it distracted me from my thoughts.

Never repeat the same phrase in the same paragraph. It’s bad literature. It’s boring and overly-repetitive. Synonyms are okay, as long as they are poetically combined, but verbatim the same phrase doesn’t sound good. There are edge cases.
