I’ve always wanted to be a great mechanical engineer. In college I loved mechanical engineering. I also loved biology. They made me choose one or the other.
If I live long enough, I’ll go back to ME and see what can be done there. Maybe mix up something only I could mix up with ME and molecular biology. Though that often means the mechanics at the cellular level–something that I, for whatever reason, have no interest in whatsoever.
There’s so much to explore in school, and then things slow down and you’re just stuck… with what? In a job, doing the same thing over and over again.
Am I doing this right? Should I go back and get my PhD?
